Thomas Müller, 35, has officially announced his transfer to the Vancouver Whitecaps, ending his 25-year career with Bayern Munich. To bid farewell to his former club, Müller partnered with a foundation he has long supported to launch a charity auction, with proceeds going to support young bereavement victims.

The auction items include numerous iconic Müller items, including his personal Bayern Munich jersey and hoodies, 710 pairs of autographed football boots, a unique corner flag, and a life-sized wooden sculpture of Müller carved from 200-year-old oak.

The former Bayern Munich player, who will wear the number 13 soccer shirt for his new club, will present these items to the highest bidder when the auction closes on September 7th. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the foundation, which provides services such as telephone and in-person grief counseling, support groups, and group leisure activities.
