Liverpool restarts midfield trio to end four-game losing streak

In a key match of the 10th round of the Premier League, defending champions Liverpool defeated Aston Villa 2-0 at home, finally ending their four-game losing streak. However, somewhat disappointingly, substitute signing Wirtz failed to score his first goal in the Liverpool jersey.
Due to immense pressure, Sloet restarted the midfield trio that won the Premier League title last season, leaving the €136 million German prodigy on the bench. In his approximately 18 minutes on the pitch, Wirtz only managed a 6.5 rating, clearly indicating he hasn't yet adapted to the intensity of the Premier League.
Having played 14 games for Liverpool, Wirtz, who wears the number 7 soccer shirt, still hasn't scored a goal. Now that a quarter of the Premier League season has been played, Wirtz's continued struggles to adapt will likely make it difficult for him to escape "flop" accusations.
