England Internationals Clash on Derby Field

In a key Premier League match of Round 3, Arsenal came from behind to defeat Chelsea 2-1 at home, securing their third consecutive victory and keeping pace with Manchester City. However, towards the end of the match, two England national team teammates clashed violently on the pitch.
In the 83rd minute, trailing 1-2, Chelsea launched a full-scale counter-attack. Rodgers, making a quick off-the-ball run, was stepped on the ankle by Rice, wearing the number 41 Arsenal jersey. Rodgers fell to the ground, missing a chance to follow up. After getting up, Rodgers was furious, and the two shoved each other before being separated by other players from both teams.
During the clash, Rodgers received a yellow card for his verbal altercation, while Rice was not punished. It's worth noting that just recently at the World Cup, the two were close friends playing side-by-side in England jersey; it's unexpected that they've become bitter enemies on the Premier League pitch.
